Today is meant to be a special newsletter! We are thrilled to share with you the arrival of a new ultra-luxury and niche product from Black Drops.

From one of the most fascinating regions of Italy, Sardinia , we present the Althunnus bluefin tuna , an experience for the palate without comparison. This prized tuna is fished directly from the nets of the ancient traps , guaranteeing maximum freshness and quality.

Althunnus bluefin tuna is already filleted , packaged and placed in special containers to reach your table fresh and tasty. Each box is handmade by specialized personnel, a true sign of craftsmanship and dedication.

Althunnus is a constantly evolving family business . Their establishment combines the most modern technologies for the treatment of tuna, without ever abandoning eco-sustainable fishing and respect for the environment . We are proud to help preserve an ancient craft and enhance the territory of Southern Sardinia.

Tuna fishermen have a long tradition of fishing for bluefin tuna. They use new and complex environmentally friendly fishing methods to protect small species and reduce bycatch of other species.

We are very excited to introduce you to this new Italian excellence and invite you to discover our Althunnus tuna collection . You can choose between the Portoscuso line , directly from the tuna trap nets of Capo Altano, in the heart of the Sulcis Iglesiente coast, or the Carloforte line , coming from the tuna trap of Cala Vinagra, on the island of Carloforte. The latter is our special selection reserved for the catch of the first seasonal Corsa tuna, guaranteeing the best quality for your palate.
