ARTISAN BRESAOLA is a product made from beef put into seasoning after the addition of salts and flavorings. The first written documents related to Bresaola date back to the 1400s, but the origins of this typical cured meat certainly predate that. In 1996, Bresaola della Valtellina received EU PGI recognition.
Bresaola is made from cattle between two and four years old, of which the most valuable muscle cuts of the thigh, such as rump and hip tip, are used. From a nutritional point of view, Bresaola is, among cured meats, one of the products that best meets the needs of a healthy and balanced diet: in fact, while it has a high protein content, it has a very low amount of fat and therefore a reduced calorie intake. Also notable is the content of iron, zinc, vitamin B2 and PP.
Cutting is done on site after the order is processed, this is to maintain the freshness and quality of the product; therefore, the delivery time for this product varies from 4 to 7 days.
